Abduction is a deeply personal project - a short film reflecting on childhood memories and fantasies, revolving around alien encounters.

In the film, personal and social archives are distorted through 3D animation and VFX interventions. Jolly family archives reveal themselves to be uncanny 3D spaces floating in darkness, while news archives suggest otherworldly presences that were not there at first glance.

Abduction combines a variety of techniques to create a narrative line that is both wholesome, eerie, and thought-provoking.

Abduction had its world premiere at the 56th edition of IFFR.

Abduction was awarded Best Bulgarian Short Film at the Burgas International Film Festival.
