EDM Warriors

About
For this project, we brought three of the world's most iconic cities — London, Tokyo, and New York — into one shared universe, reimagined as miniature isometric worlds for an EDM Warriors ad campaign.
Each city was distilled into six characteristic tiles, packed with instantly recognisable landmarks and details, rendered in an exaggerated, toy-like style reminiscent of miniature parks like Mini-Europe — cute in proportion, but grounded in real material and lighting detail. The result is a set of tiny, self-contained worlds that read at a glance: unmistakably London, Tokyo, or New York, each with its own personality.
Our work spanned look development, lighting, and crowd simulation. On the look development side, we defined the material language that made the miniatures feel believable at a small scale — balancing stylised proportions with realistic surfacing, so the cities felt like physical models rather than flat illustrations. Lighting carried the mood of the EDM unverse, giving each city its own atmosphere while tying all three together with a consistent, high-energy techno-party tone — punchy, saturated, and built to move with the music. To bring the tiles to life, we populated them with simulated crowds, animated across the squares to give each miniature city a sense of scale, movement, and dynamic.
The outcome is a playful, high-energy visual language that turns three real cities into a shared, dance-floor-ready miniature universe.
