About

Bodil is a small animation and VFX studio based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

We came together in 2025 through a shared curiosity and excitement for building digital worlds that don’t exist otherwise. Since then, we have worked on a mix of commercial and artistic projects - some with a very clear brief,

others starting from a phone call and a vague concept.

Our practice moves freely between different media, be it 3D or 2D animation, VFX, photography or design. We like learning new tools, but we’re not interested in using them at all costs just because they’re there. We focus on whatever techniques best serve the idea. Sometimes it’s a complicated setup; other times something more glitchy does the job better.

Mostly, we’re interested in making things that make us want to play - experimenting and twisting reality one render at a time.
